Ron Mueck

While here in Melbourne, I've been able to go to the Victoria Gallery and the Australian centre of the arts. These are very nice art galleries and definitely worth looking around in. The Victoria Gallery has an exhibit on currently featuring artist Ron Mueck. His work is AMAZING!! Everything is so life-like and fascinating.

Introduction

Hi,
My name is Tiffany, I am a Fashion Design student in my final semester. I started off at Buffalo State College, and am currently studying abroad at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. I have been here for about 2 months now and am finally enjoying myself. The trip started out rough; 2 days of travel time to get here, a 16 hour time change to get used to, and arriving in a new country completely on my own... Not to mention i had only a few days to find a place to live!! Then, when i thought things couldn't get worse, i found out my classes had started 2 weeks earlier!!

By some miracle, within a week i found a place to stay, good people to live with, and got settled into all my classes. I am living in Brunswick West which is a short tram ride and walk away from the college, and not too much further past that is the city. I really like the location, it's a nice town that has easy access to everything that you need.

The first month here consisted of going to classes and doing the usual tourist things.. going to the Aquarium, the Zoo, and the Art Galleries. Plus, tons of walking around and exploring. Also, checked out the beach, along with some nice Restaurants and Pubs. Everything here seems to be settling into place, and I'm finally getting used to my surroundings.
